The semi attached villa is based on three floors and consists of 8 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, garden, garage and multiple terraces enjoying seaviews as well country views. It Is currently freehold, unfurnished and may need a certain amount of renovation. Very well located, just a 1 minute drive to the sea and all amenities. Not to be missed! Marsaxlokk is a traditional fishing village located in the south-eastern part of Malta, with a population of 3,277 people (NSO Report, Dec 2008). The village’s name comes from marsa, which means "port" and xlokk, which is the local name for south east. The word is related to the name for the dry sirocco wind that blows from the Sahara, comparable to the equivalent Catalan word, "xaloc". During the week days Marsaxlokk is full of souvenirs hawkers selling traditional souvenirs to the tourists. The Marsaxlokk Market has a long history. The market took place even before the sea side restaurants who sell delicious food especially the fish.On a Sunday, a very big market takes place around the whole village with many selling vegetables, clothes, and spectacular fish. The inhabitants of the village are namely called as the Xlukkajri and many of them are fishermen, although today their children are heading and succeeding at school. Interesting is also the fact that the Xlukkajri have their very own dialect which is practiced by many. Additional Details
